Which One is the Right Leadership Style for You?

Success or failure within a company is based on the true effectiveness of its leadership. The workforce can only achieve the ultimate results when leaders make the right choices. But every front-runner has their own style of management that can provide successful outcomes.
You can also learn these styles and take your career to the next level. Here we have five leadership ways that will help you become a better manager.
Engaged Leadership

The ones who prefer engaging with every single member of their team follow the engaged leadership style. These managers are good listeners as well. They connect with their employees on a personal level to understand what’s going on with them.
You can engage your workers with conversations and ask questions about them and their aspirations – this will help form a much stronger bond that will better the work performance.
Authoritative Leadership

It’s common for people to think that a team head is always authoritative. Well, it might not be the case for everyone out there, but yes, there are some who lean towards this leadership style.
The only decision-maker who has all the power and control over their team is an authoritative leader. In contract to the engaging management, here, no questions are asked, and the manager only needs to provide tasks to every member of the team and to make sure everything gets done in time.
Collaborative Leadership
Collaborative leadership is the opposite of an authoritative one because every member’s opinion matters here. Brainstorming as a team to solve the problems is what makes this way more attractive for many bosses.
People who follow the collaborative style are open about decision making and consider everyone’s voice on the table important. With this, not only will the leader grow, but the members also become more efficient and confident in their work.
Observant Leadership

If you are someone with high EQ (Emotional Quotient), then you’ll make a great observant leader. Looking beyond what’s visible, this style provides a much deeper understanding of the team and its members.
If one of the employees has hidden talents and is not confident enough to show them, the observant managers come to the rescue and provide opportunities.
Coaching Leadership
This takes collaborative leadership to the next level. The manager will make sure that every team member reaches their full potential and has the encouragement they need. That being said, the most important plan is to bring out the best of the team’s abilities and improve their performance.
Communication is the most effective part of this style, so provide constructive feedback and guide them through tough situations. This will make you a better leader and coach.
There are many ways that you can lead a team, and it doesn’t have to be one of these styles, but the five mentioned above are the most effective ones that will take you to a whole new level of success, so choose the right one for you.
